Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.
Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.
Job Summary
The Assistant II, Administration is responsible for providing support to an individual senior leader or small number of senior leaders in their day-to-day office activities. This job manages the day to day activities, schedule and travel arrangements for one or many leaders. The Assistant II, Administration maintains a strong understanding of all relevant Cardinal Health operations and frequently represents the company and related senior leaders internally and externally via written and spoken communications. This job frequently handles confidential business and personal matters and demonstrates discretion and judgement in all interactions. The Assistant II, Administration anticipates the needs of senior leaders and displays the ability to manage multiple tasks at time.
Responsibilities
• Facilitates accounts payables, including check requests, invoice payment requests, end of month accruals, ensuring cost enters are accurately charged
• Order office supplies for distribution center
• Maintains inventory of distribution supplies
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of general clerical and administrative office functions, processes, and procedures
• Manages relationships via various channels as needed
• Assists in problem resolution (payroll, invoicing, orders, etc.)
• Act as project lead for scheduling and coordination of specialized events & activities
• Utilizes specialized computer skills and applications to complete tasks
• Generates custom reports or perform advanced functions as needed
• Utilizes office equipment and tools to perform a variety of specialized tasks without direction
• Manages initiatives requiring use of intermediate organizational skills
• Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures
• Obtains and organizes information for use in conferences, speeches, and reports as requested by the senior leader.
• Develops, edits, proofreads, and formats presentations and other documents for senior leaders in preparation for meetings.
• Facilitates new employee orientation
• Manages and update business resiliency plan
• Back up route coordinator handling rush order/courier processing
Qualifications
• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• 1 to 3 years work experience in related field preferred
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Proficient in MS Office programs and Outlook
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous payroll and accounts payable experience desired

Anticipated hourly range: $19 per hour - $29.70 per hour
