Connect Staffing is hiring a Dock Pacer (Stand-up) Forklift Operator for a high-volume 3PL distribution center in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position with multiple shifts available, paying $17–$19/hr. In this role, you will operate a Raymond stand-up dock pacer with standard forks to move, position, and rack product throughout the facility, and pull outbound orders from warehouse racking. Multiple openings are available across three shifts.

Schedule:1st Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 AM–10:30 AM | 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 10:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond stand-up dock pacer with standard forks to move, position, and rack product throughout the distribution center.
• Pull and pick customer orders from warehouse racking for outbound shipment.
• Scan merchandise using an RF scanner before relocating product to a new rack location.
• Receive and store inbound product and transfers in designated rack areas.
• Transport picked orders to the dock using the dock pacer.
• Verify correct product count and type are loaded and shipped.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections on the forklift.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of stand-up forklift or dock pacer experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Raymond stand-up dock pacers specifically.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or high-volume fulfillment environment.
• Ability to read and follow pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Experience with pallet racking systems and product positioning.
