Leasing Agent

Elwood Staffing is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join a local community.

Leasing Agent Details:

• Temporary position
• $18.00 to $19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm )

• Professionally answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide detailed information about the property
• Conduct engaging and informative tours of vacant apartment homes, highlighting features, amenities, and benefits to prospective residents
• Accurately enter and track work orders and resident requests into the property management system, ensuring timely resolution
• Assist prospective residents with the application process, review eligibility criteria, and prepare lease agreements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community amenities, floor plans, pricing, and local market conditions
• Provide exceptional customer service to both current residents and prospective renters
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and text to encourage leasing and maintain interest
• Assist with general office duties, including filing, organizing, and maintaining the appearance of the leasing office and model units
• Support marketing efforts by distributing promotional materials and assisting with community events as needed

Leasing Agent Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative with a strong service-oriented approach
• Prior experience in residential leasing is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as an effective team member
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a proactive work ethic
