Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Masonry Tender to support our masonry crews across Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position with guaranteed year-round work, ensuring no layoffs or down days. The ideal candidate is physically capable, motivated, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced construction environment.

• Commute to job sites with travel times up to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
• Unload, carry, and stockpile block, brick, stone, and other materials.
• Dig trenches and prepare work areas efficiently.
• Push wheelbarrows and transport materials on-site.
• Mix mud/mortar to the proper consistency.
• Cut materials using hand tools or power tools.
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently.
• Assist masons and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Operate forklifts and boom lifts (certification preferred).

• Proficiency in general labor, construction, and masonry tasks.
• Experience with commercial construction, tape measuring, and concrete.
• Knowledge of OSHA 30 safety standards.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate scaffolding and forklifts.

• Possession of PPE: hard hat, vest or high-vis shirt, and boots (steel toe not required).
• Must-have tools: tape measure and marker.
• Nice-to-have tools: hammer, wire reel, and pliers.
• Willingness to work at various job sites throughout Los Angeles County.
• Eagerness to work, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Located in Los Angeles County, CA, the position offers work hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Be prepared for long commutes up to 1 hour and 20 minutes. The environment involves outdoor work conditions and requires appropriate attire, including a hard hat and high-visibility clothing. Power tools are supplied.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Fernando, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr.
