Nurse Practitioner Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Sunday | 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Shift vary)
Location: Katy, TX
Temporary to hire
Starting Pay Rate: $55.00 hour + (based on experience)

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive medical evaluations, including history and physical examinations, for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of urgent care conditions in accordance with evidence-based practice and clinical protocols.
* Demonstrate proficiency in suturing and wound closure techniques, including management of lacerations and minor procedures.
* Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies, imaging, and point-of-care testing.
* Prescribe medications and treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
* Adhere to all clinical, safety, regulatory, and infection control standards.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a positive patient care environment.
Education Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent, required.
* Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the applicable state.
* Current DEA registration required.
* DOT Certification Required
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine required.
* Documented competency in suturing and wound closure techniques required.
* Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and procedural skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
